Update: I successfully got my child's passport for our summer vacation, without needing his signature or anything.
Going through a divorce can be very stressful, time and money consuming, but the team at Varghese Summersett made the entire process so much less stressful for me.
From my very first consultation, Michael took the time to truly listen to my concerns and explain every step of the legal process in a way that I could actually understand.
Michael Livens and his paralegal Jeromy are very knowledgeable, responsive, and always stayed on top of my case.
I value communication and dislike procastination. Once I send a message, request or concern, I receive a reply back within minutes/hours.
My ex and his so called lawyer made up lies confidently, thinking he got everything perfected, even had his Mom who claimed to be a so called Christian, whom I respected testify falsely in court and had vague requests but Michael exposed all their lies in court. People really can't be trusted!!smh

Im Adam's mom. He had Tiffany Burks as his lawyer. It was just luck that I picked this firm. Tiffany is a fabulous lawyer her team was fabulous as well. They were there with Adam and I every step of the way. Adam did get for prison time. Tiffany got him the best deal possible. I would definitely recommend this law firm.

I was referred to Varghese and Summersett, by a friend who was familiar with the firm, to resolve a custody issue with my daughter. I was attempting to limit the visitation that her biological mother had due to abuse that had taken place at her residence. I was immediately contacted by Michael Livens and Jeromy Kitchen who have been absolutely top notch from the very beginning. I was able to easily describe my situation and get clear and concise advice and opinions on what route would be best to take in my situation. Throughout the entire process they were both able to explain the situations and paperwork to me in plain English, allowing me to make informed and educated decisions. Even when I was worked up and emotional, Michael was able to guide me towards decisions that would benefit me in the long run. I don't think I would have gotten the outcome that I got without their guidance. Michael was able to, not only get the child support that I had been paying for 15 years dropped but also get me awarded child support through the end of our custody agreement.
