Sketchy subcontracting and lack of transparency.
I used this company a few years ago. I think it was the owner that came out and did a great job resolving an AC drainage issue. That same year he sent a sub contractor out for a simple cleaning which was alright.
This year he had me working with a call center out of San Antonio that is incredibly hard to understand and I had to work with a couple different people asking the same questions and getting things wrong about the problems I have with my HVAC systems. They had an attitude and a condescending tone the whole time. They sent a sub contractor out and promised to only charge for the service fee unless they get explicit approval from me for other work. The tech changed out a fuse for which they charged about double what they charged for the service fee... This wasn't communicated to me until the tech was gone. They kept calling me, even when I sent them to voicemail multiple times, while the tech was still at our house.
I then got a quote for re-running the thermostat wire for a couple thousand dollars. I looked up what the price should have been, it shouldn't have been more than $400-500 max.

Dependable HVAC service with fast and effective solutions. The technicians were friendly and explained the repair process clearly. My heating system is now working perfectly. Pricing was transparent and reasonable. Will call them again for future needs.

No need to go anywhere else. Linus Heating and Air Conditioning is the company you should be calling for all your heating and cooling needs - I promise you won't have a better team working on HVAC units. We had an issue with the cost of AC replacement from another local company and they didn't turn up twice so we called Linus Heating and Air Conditioning. These guys came on time gave us a quote and estimate of the time to do it and were absolutely spot on. The work was professionally done to my satisfaction

I cannot say enough about how easy Robin and the staff at Linus Heating and Air Conditioning are to work with. Friendly, efficient, and quality service all the way around. We are very pleased with our new furnace. They also do everything the right way and don't try to up sell me anything I did not need. The two technicians exemplify integrity and customer service in their work. A+ all the way!

If you are looking for a true professional in Heating and Cooling, you don't need to look any further! Linus Heating and Air Conditioning is the place. I called and Guy was there the next day and not only did he fix my problem, he diagnosed my complete system. They really know what they are doing over there and explain everything! So if you want a company that knows what they are doing, are fair priced, and are able to get to you fast. Call them now if you have any AC or Heating issues!
